Joining Instructions
1... Could you please ensure that students bring with them the following: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all courses requiring practical exercises
Hard Hat / Safety Helmet
Reflective Jacket
Overalls / Uniform
Safety Footwear
Wet Weather Clothing
Gloves
PLEASE NOTE THAT WITHOUT ALL THE ABOVE, THE STUDENT CANNOT TAKE PART IN THE COURSE
2... Trainees should arrive on site for registration by 08.30 hrs at the latest.
3... Trainees WILL NEED to bring a Calculator and a Passport size Photograph for their passport.
(If the student has an Institute of Vehicle Recovery passport of training book please bring it along to the course for updating.)
4... All practical work will be “Hands On” exercises and the trainees will be continually assessed while on the course.
5... When the practical work has been covered, we return to the classroom for further discussion on the course content. This is followed by an examination.
6... A reasonable level of physical fitness is required as the course involves a certain amount of bending, kneeling and lifting during the practical work. Therefore students must be able to cope with this activity
